Industry-university-research matching activities
In order to align with the policy guidelines of the SAR government, enhance the support for scientific and technological innovation, and promote the moderate diversification of Macao's economy, the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) is vigorously promoting the transformation of scientific research achievements of funded projects, as well as striving to explore a market-oriented development mode of organic industry-university-research combination.
Through holding or promoting a diversity of activities, FDCT hopes to create favorable conditions and opportunities to strengthen the connection of Macao's scientific research achievements with the capital and scientific and technological enterprises in Macao and other cities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, support the transfer and transformation of qualified scientific research achievements, and drive public capital to Macao’s high-quality scientific research projects; to create opportunities for the scientific research teams in Macao to communicate with enterprises to understand their actual needs, further optimize the research results and enhance the potentials for transformation; to promote the integration of Macao's scientific research into the country’s overall development, seize the opportunity of science and technology development presented by the Greater Bay Area, deepen the innovation cooperation with the various industries in the Greater Bay Area, and further enhance Macao's innovative power.
