Online Industry-University-Research Matching Platform
In order to cooperate with the SAR government to improve the new system and mechanism for scientific and technological innovation and promote key policy objectives for industry-university-research integration, and in view of the fact that various industries face considerate difficulties in meeting their technological needs and the academia also indicated that research results are hard to be applied in real life, the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) has launched the “Online Industry-University-Research Matching Platform” to vertically combine scientific research achievements with industry applications, breaking the barriers between various industries and the academia.
Enterprises and scientific research institutions in Macao may publish their information such as technical needs and scientific research results through the platform to match with others. Local enterprises may also submit their applications for part of the funding to the FDCT through the “Funding Scheme for Industry-University-Research Partnership for Enterprises”, upon being successfully matched with their partner.
