55 Macau Technology Enterprises and Universities Participate in AIE through the “Macau Innovation and Technology Pavilion” – 10 Events and 7 Signing Ceremonies Held over Three-Day Exhibition

Coinciding with the inaugural “Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo” (AIE), held from December 4 to 6 under the innovative “One Exhibition, Two Cities” format simultaneously in Macao and Zhuhai, the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) meticulously curated the “Macau Innovation and Technology Pavilion” in the Macau exhibition area. It organized 51 outstanding technology enterprises and 4 higher education institutions from Macau to participate, seizing the opportunity presented by this large-scale, high-level international exhibition hosted in Macau. The pavilion provided a comprehensive showcase of Macau’s unique strengths and vast application potential in the field of science and technology innovation to domestic and international buyers and professional visitors attending the event in Macau.
AIE gathered over a thousand enterprises from more than 30 countries and regions, including mainland China, Russia, Brazil, Singapore, Germany, and South Korea and attracted thousands of buyers and professional visitors, creating boundless business opportunities. The newly established “Macau Innovation and Technology Pavilion” focused on the theme of "Livelihood + Technology," featuring participants from cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, smart healthcare, and the Internet of Things. It vividly showcased Macau’s scientific research capabilities and industrial achievements. Representatives from local universities noted that the exhibition provided an excellent platform to present their self-developed products to visitors from Macao and around the world. Meanwhile, participating technology enterprises expressed hopes to expand their markets and collaboration opportunities, ultimately achieving the expected goal of facilitating business cooperation.
During the exhibition, the FDCT and the Economic and Technological Development Bureau jointly hosted the “Matching Event for Technology Enterprises and Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprises & Certificate Presentation Ceremony for the Technology Enterprises Certification Programme”. This event organized business matching between participating technology enterprises and six major integrated tourism and leisure enterprises in Macao, successfully facilitating 30 one-on-one discussions and establishing a solid foundation for collaboration. Moreover, the FDCT supported various Macau technology-related entities, including enterprises, universities, and associations, in holding product and technology launch events, signing ceremonies, and technology forums within the “Macau Innovation and Technology Pavilion”. Over three days, 10 related events gathered elites from government, industry, academia, and research sectors to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on the latest technological topics, such as artificial intelligence, contributing to the vigorous development of Macau’s high technology industry.
