The 18th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC), organized by the Macao Chamber of Commerce, was held from November 2 to 4 at the Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao and the Galaxy International Convention Center. This year’s convention, themed “Working Together to Build a Community of Shared Future for Chinese Entrepreneurs,” attracted over 4,000 business leaders, experts, scholars, and representatives from the commercial sector worldwide to jointly explore new directions for global economic change and innovative development.
The Macao Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) organized a total of 16 Macao technology enterprises to participate in the exhibition. Through the WCEC international platform, these enterprises showcased their innovative technologies and products and established cooperative relationships with Chinese businesses both domestically and overseas. The participating enterprises covered innovative fields such as artificial intelligence, information technology, and biomedicine, with exhibits including AI application solutions, intelligent service systems, and research outcomes in pharmacology and drug development, fully demonstrating the innovative capabilities and diversified development potential of Macao technology enterprises.
By participating in the WCEC, Macao technology enterprises were able to showcase their innovative achievements and expand into international markets. The FDCT will continue to promote external exchanges and cooperation for Macao’s technology industry, facilitate the commercialization of innovative achievements, and drive the moderate diversification and long-term development of Macao’s economy.
