Macao and Hengqin Enterprises Seek Diverse Business Opportunities at INNOEX 2025 in Hong Kong

The highly anticipated INNOEX 2025 opened on 13 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, together with the Science and Technology Development Fund, organised the participation of ten enterprises and higher education institutions from Macao and the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. A designated Macao Pavilion was set up at the event to showcase the latest achievements in science and technology innovation from both regions, supporting enterprises in exploring international cooperation opportunities. The event is co-organised by the Economic and Technological Development Bureau and the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
The Macao Pavilion brings together ten exhibitors, namely REGION COMPUTER CO. LTD., HOPUU TECHNOLOGY (MACAU) LIMITED, AKL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED / ZHUHAI HENGQIN AKL DRONE SYSTEMS LIMITED, COMPANHIA DE EQUIPAMENTOS MASTER, LIMITADA, GUANGZHOU PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP (MACAU) INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD., MACAU UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, BOARDWARE INFORMATION SYSTEM LIMITED / BOARDWARE INFORMATION SYSTEM (ZHUHAI) LIMITED, VODATEL HOLDINGS LIMITED, ZENCE OBJECT TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., and KINGDOM INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. These companies are showcasing breakthrough applications in areas such as the low-altitude economy, smart city development, traditional Chinese medicine, biotechnology, and the silver economy. The event has attracted global buyers and industry professionals, highlighting the innovative synergy of Macao and Hengqin. Throughout the exhibition, participating enterprises will engage in a series of business-matching activities to explore global innovation opportunities.
On the afternoon of the opening day, the organisers hosted a seminar titled Embracing New Opportunities: Low-Altitude Economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, supported by the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Productivity Promotion Service Alliance. Speakers included Ms. Yachen Wu, Vice-President of EHang Intelligent Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.; Mr. Lyan Law, Principal Consultant for Industry 4.0+ and Low-Altitude Economy at the Hong Kong Productivity Council; Mr. Qiu Jiandong, General Manager of SUTPC Digital Technology (Hong Kong) Limited; and Dr. Ken Lai, Founder and CEO of AKL Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. The seminar featured in-depth discussions on application scenarios and the collaborative development of the industry chain in the low-altitude economy. To strengthen academia-industry collaboration, a Macao Technology Exchange Delegation was also organised on the same day. Participants had the opportunity to experience cutting-edge technological advancements first-hand and join thematic technical seminars, supporting local talent in staying abreast of global technology trends.
The Macao Pavilion at INNOEX 2025 runs from 13 to 16 April.
