Gong Hongwu, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group, Level I Bureau Rank Official, and Deputy Head of Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, led a delegation and visited the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) on February 21 to discuss cooperation between Guangzhou and Macao in technology and finance as well as the transfer and conversion of scientific research achievements. Mr. Cheang Kun Wai, the member of the Administrative Committee of FDCT, made a reception for them.
 
During the reception, the two sides discussed the operation of the “Macao Innovative Resources Special Session” jointly built on SCTCC.CN website by the Online Industry-University-Research Matching Platform of FDCT and South China Technology Commercialization Center. The collaborative cooperation between the two platforms will boost exchanges of innovative resources between the two places, contribute to the ability of Macao’s higher education institutions to commercialize achievements, and strengthen the industry-university-research collaboration in the Greater Bay Area. Besides, the two sides also discussed the relevant work arrangements for future scientific and technological cooperation between Guangzhou and Macao, thus setting a stage for scientific and technological enterprises, scientific research institutions, and incubators in the two places to develop scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges.
 
Delegates from Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau including Deputy Head Wu Hanrong, Director Han Yanhong, Director Zhao Xiaoxi, Director Mai Jiaxing, Director Liu Xiang, Deputy Director Mai Hui, and FDCT Senior Manager Che Wai Meng attended the reception.
